‘A Hero’ to be screened at Busan filmfest

Iranian feature ‘A Hero’ is slated to vie at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in South Korea.

Asghar Farhadi’s award-winning movie will be screened at the Icons Section of the 26th edition of the event.

The film is about Rahim, a divorced man who has been imprisoned due to an unpaid debt. During a two-day leave, Rahim tries to prove that he is a good person.

The movie is starring Amir Jadidi, Mohsen Tanabandeh, and Fereshteh Sadr-Orafaee.

Earlier, ‘A Hero’ was screened at the main program of the 48th Telluride Film Festival in the US.

Founded in 1996, the BIFF is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia.

This year’s edition of the event is scheduled for October 6-11.
